Director of Audiology
Merle received both her Master of Arts degree in Audiology and her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has been a practicing Audiologist since 1987. Prior to joining Hearing Professionals of Illinois in 1995, she worked at Consultants in Neurology, specializing in neurodiagnostics, vestibular testing and balance disorders. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Merle is licensed to practice Audiology in the state of Illinois.
