Gregory S. Bussell, M.D.
Dr. Bussell received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University. He then returned to Chicago for his medical training at the University of Illinois-Chicago where he graduated with honors and was named to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. He was also awarded the prestigious Grove Award for excellence in academic achievement and leadership at the conclusion of his training.
Dr. Bussell completed his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago and in his final year was named Chief Resident. During his residency he had his research published and presented at numerous national meetings. He also trained in extended rotations at Children’s Memorial Hospital and Cook County Hospitals.
Dr. Bussell is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He practices the full range of both adult and pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery with a special interest in minimally invasive sinus and nasal surgery, minimally invasive thyroid surgery, and the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.
