A bronchoscopy is a diagnostic procedure performed via telescopes to visualize the passageway to the lungs. Problems identified can include malacia collapse, foreign objects, inflammation, signs of aspiration, narrowing or tumor growths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The procedure is performed under a general anesthetic in children. It can be performed with soft flexible scopes or rigid scopes depending on the situation. We have extensive experience performing this procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
